All In

“Though they hail from Tel Aviv, this group sounds like Newark, circa 1963” - Bill Milkowski, Downbeat

All In is the second recording by guitarist Gil Livni, and it is a humdinger from start to finish, thanks to Livni's remarkable skills as a player and composer- Jack Bower, All About Jazz

“A solid, groove-led jazz organ quartet date with strong playing and an easy sense of swing.”— Mike Gates, UK Vibes

“The Man of a thousand fingers” -Thierry De Clemensat, Paris Move

With “All In,” Gil Livni takes the listener on a ride through the soulful pulse of the jazz organ quartet. Guitar, organ, saxophone, and drums weave together in a conversation full of swing, bluesy grit, and hard-bop fire. Drawing from the masters yet speaking in his own voice, Livni crafts a sound that is both rooted in tradition and boldly contemporary.

The album spans 10 tracks: seven original compositions, two time-honored jazz and blues standards, and a daring reimagining of the Beatles’ I Want You (She’s So Heavy). Here, classic rock meets jazz improvisation, blurring lines of genre and time, exploring tension, space, and release with a fresh perspective.

Livni’s mission is clear: to push jazz guitar forward while paying homage to the legends, borrowing inspiration from outside jazz, and challenging the clichés of the last three decades. The result is a voice that is uniquely his own, expressive, lyrical, and full of swing.
